| What is Bigfoot Stompbox ?
Bigfoot stompbox is a musical instrument crafted in the main from salvaged, mostly local, and often very beautiful, timber. Some of the timbers are so rare we may never see them again.
The crafted instrument is fitted with a 'pickup' which connects to your amplifier or PA system via a standard instrument cable. No external power or batteries are required.
When you stomp on a Bigfoot, the sound is reproduced by your PA system. Best results are obtained if the Amplifier or PA system has a good bass response, although many customers are quite happy using their good old busking amps.
 All Bigfoot models are designed and hand crafted by Australian musician Peter Woolnough in his Northern NSW workshop. All current models use a version of the 'monster' pickup which reproduces the big fat sound of a kick drum. Depending on the model and the performer's preference, Bigfoot stompbox can be played using full foot, heel and toe or toe only. You can be sitting or standing, with or without footwear, fully clothed or totally nude. It still sounds great.
